The tours are carried out in the high-water times where there is enough water to circulate with the boat outside the deepest channels. The tides are altered by the gravitational pull of the Sun and Moon with the Moon being the greatest influence due to its proximity to the planet Earth. Interpretation of the landscape, fauna and flora
We left Moinho de Maré da Mourisca by boat,to analyzing the entire landscape around us, from mountains to castles, trees to plants, or even birds and fish. The Sado Estuary Nature Reserve holds many stories and evidence of its natural beauty. On a 3-hour tour, we will also approach the east bank for a small walk route on an small beach only for us.
